1. About these terms

These terms apply when you book or receive cleaning services from Swept Cleaning (“Swept”, “we”, “us”). By booking, you agree to them. We may update them from time to time; the version in force is the one published here when you book.

2. Quotes and estimates

Prices shown in our online calculator are estimates based on the information you provide (service, property size, condition and any add-ons). The final price is confirmed on arrival after a quick walkthrough.

If the property is materially different from what was booked — for example, significantly larger, or in a much worse condition — the cleaner may propose a variation. Any change in price is agreed with you before additional work begins.

3. Payment and GST

Instant-bookable cleans are paid by card. All prices are inclusive of GST. Where an account is set up for invoicing, payment terms are as stated on the invoice.

4. Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel free of charge more than 48 hours before the scheduled start. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a fee. No-shows or situations where the cleaner cannot access the property may be charged. The current cancellation settings are applied at checkout.

5. Bond-back guarantee

Our bond cleans are carried out to an agent-grade end-of-lease checklist. If your managing agent’s inspection identifies a covered cleaning item within 72 hours of completion, we will return and re-clean that item at no charge. The guarantee covers cleaning only; it does not cover repairs, pest control, or items outside the agreed scope.

6. Access and safety

You are responsible for providing safe access and accurate access instructions. Any lockbox codes or keys you provide are stored securely and used only to carry out the booking. Please secure valuables and tell us about pets or hazards in advance.

7. Liability

We carry public liability insurance and take care in your home. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to re-performing the service or refunding the amount paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
